Our members and customers entrust us to process and store valuable data. Therefore, data security and data protection are top priorities to DATEV.

Information Obligations in Accordance With Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR and Section 13 (1) of the Telemedia Act (TMG)

For DATEV, as an EDP service provider for the professions, data protection and data security are of top priority, and are of fundamental importance. DATEV stands for exceptionally high standards in this area (Code of Business Conduct, section 2).

Certification for audit requirements

If personal data are processed on behalf, the principal remains responsible for the adherence to appropriate technical and organisational measures, also concerning the service provider. It is not necessary to conduct on-site controls to check our conformity to the agreed protection measures. Instead, attestations can be referred to DATEV’s Certificates.
