The annual press conference 2015 took place in Nuremberg

DATEV’s CEO Prof. Dieter Kempf and CFO Dr. Robert Mayr presented last year’s results and the current half-year figures at the annual press conference 2015.

Digitalization of processes gains momentum

The cooperative dealt with these topics in the recent past and will also do so in the near future:

  • the progressive digitalization of processes in and between businesses, municipal administrations, the tax consulting, auditing, and legal consulting professions
  • the digitalization of commercial processes within SMEs
  • the implementation of the German GoBS (Grundsätze ordnungsmäßiger DV-gestützter Buchführungssysteme), the fundamentals of orderly computer-assisted bookkeeping systems (more or less the German equivalent of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP)
  • change at the top of DATEV’s management board: as of 1 April 2016, Prof. Dieter Kempf will then withdraw and pass the business on to his successor, Dr. Robert Mayr
